Clear information about website data.

Information collected through this website

Buckeye Electric uses Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this website. Analytics may collect page views, referral source, browser and device details, general engagement, and approximate city, region, and country derived from a visitor's network location. Buckeye Electric does not receive raw visitor IP addresses from Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is not configured to collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, service addresses, or the contents of estimate requests.

Estimate requests and online booking

Information you voluntarily enter in an estimate form is sent to Buckeye Electric through Formspree so we can respond to your request. Online booking is provided through Housecall Pro and is governed by that provider's privacy practices.

Ask Buckeye website assistant

Questions entered in the Ask Buckeye chat are sent to OpenAI to generate general information about Buckeye Electric's services and next steps. The assistant is not used to confirm appointments, custom pricing, emergency dispatch, or payments. Do not enter payment-card information, account passwords, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information in chat.

Buckeye Electric does not use the chat itself to create a customer record. If you choose the Book Online or Text an Electrician option, the information you provide through that service is handled under the applicable provider's privacy practices.

To measure usage and improve answer quality, Buckeye Electric keeps a redacted copy of each question and answer for up to 60 days. Common contact details and sensitive number patterns are removed before storage, raw IP addresses are not stored with these records, and conversation text is not sent to Google Analytics.

Premier customer verification

The Premier Customer area asks for a previous service street address, ZIP code, and customer last name. These details are sent securely to Buckeye Electric's website and checked against Buckeye Electric's Housecall Pro customer records. The raw address and last name entered in the verification form are not stored in the website database or sent to Google Analytics.

The website stores a random, one-way-hashed access-session identifier so a verified device can reopen the Premier area for up to 30 days. It also keeps a one-way-hashed network identifier and the verification outcome for up to 30 days to limit automated guessing and maintain reliability. These records do not contain the submitted address, ZIP code, last name, or Housecall Pro customer details.

Customer referral requests

The customer referral form collects a name, phone number, optional email address, service address, service category, property type, timing, preferred contact method, project notes, and consent records. A valid email address is required when email is selected as the preferred contact method. Buckeye Electric uses this information to review the request privately and contact the customer about a possible next step.

Referral requests are stored in the website database for Buckeye review, and a notification containing the submitted details is sent to Buckeye through Formspree. Every new request remains pending private review and is not made available on a public lead board. Contractors cannot browse or claim customer requests through this website.

If Buckeye cannot take the work and determines that a referral may be appropriate, Buckeye may share the customer's contact and project details with no more than one approved independent electrical partner, only when the customer has explicitly authorized that referral. Buckeye may receive a lead or marketing fee. Submitting the form does not create or guarantee an appointment, referral, price, or response time. The form is not monitored for emergency dispatch; call 911 for fire, smoke, arcing, electric shock, or immediate danger.

Buckeye retains referral-request information only as long as reasonably needed to review and coordinate the request, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legal obligations. A customer may contact Buckeye to withdraw referral permission any time before details are shared with a partner, or to request deletion where applicable.

Trade-partner applications

Contractor applications may include company and contact information, an electrical-contractor license number, service areas, specialties, insurance confirmation, and other information supplied by the contractor. Buckeye Electric uses it to review possible program eligibility and communicate about future program terms. Applying is non-binding and does not guarantee acceptance, leads, work, exclusivity, or territory.

Applying as a trade partner does not provide access to customer requests. Buckeye Electric will not release customer information unless the contractor has been approved, a written partner agreement is complete, the customer has explicitly authorized the introduction, and Buckeye has selected that contractor for the specific request.

Employment applications

The Careers form collects applicant contact information, position interests, education and training, work history, electrical and mechanical experience, certifications, availability, expected starting pay, compensation priorities, driver and job-related screening acknowledgments, and an optional résumé. It does not ask for current or past wage information. Buckeye Electric uses this information to evaluate applicants and communicate about current or future employment opportunities.

Résumés are stored in private website file storage, while application details and résumé metadata are stored in the website database. Applicants should not include a Social Security number, date of birth, driver's-license number, driving-offense details, medical information, protected demographic information, or reference contact details unless Buckeye Electric requests them later. Any legally required disclosure or authorization for a motor-vehicle report, background report, or other pre-employment screening will be handled separately at the appropriate stage.

Advertising and lead measurement

The website uses Google Ads measurement to record actions such as a completed estimate request. This helps Buckeye Electric understand whether advertising produced a lead. Form contents are not sent with these measurement events.

Cookies and your choices

Google Analytics and Google Ads may use cookies or similar technologies for measurement. You can limit cookies through your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking measurement technology may reduce reporting accuracy but will not prevent you from using the website or contacting Buckeye Electric.

How information is used

Website information is used to improve services and pages, understand general service-area demand, respond to requests, measure advertising results, prevent misuse, and maintain website reliability. Buckeye Electric does not sell general browsing or analytics data. Customer contact and project information may be used for private referral review but is not part of trade-partner recruiting and is not posted to a public lead board.

Service providers

Website information may be processed by service providers that support analytics, advertising measurement, form delivery, customer-record verification, online booking, AI-generated website assistance, trade-partner and employment-application storage, private résumé storage, and website hosting.
